Birleşik Metal was founded in November 2002 in a 75 m2 shop in İkitelli Dolapdere Industrial are by Metallurgical Msc. Engineer İsmail Demirkaya.
Technical support and service was provided to the sector through heat treatment consultancy and material trade.
In order to meet the demands from the industry, it was moved to an area of 300m2 in Eskoop Industrial Zone.
The first export was realized. This export has the feature of being the first export made in Türkiye in special tool steels.
A small-scale Heat Treatment Factory was purchased and technical service was started in the heat treatment sector.
Birleşik Metal Izmir Branch was established.
Birleşik Metal Head Office moved to a new 600m2 factory.
By offering nearly 150 different special steel metals to the use of the sector, a revolution has been made in the sector, which has been shaped around 20-25 steel and brands since the 1980s, the industrialist has met the DIN norm and its healthy competitive power has been increased.
1.4112, 1.2888, DC53, 1.4528, 1.2358 , Ti Alloys, Molybdenum-hafnium alloys and Inconel series were introduced to the Turkish market.
Varzene Metal was established to specialize in special metals and to conduct them in separate disciplines.
The book of Birleşik Mould Steel for special steels was published and shared with the sector.
Current cooperation with 2000 companies has been reached.
Birleşik Metal DES Branch was established.
Cold Drawing Line investment was made. For the first time, materials such as nickel alloy and high speed steel were produced in Türkiye with cold drawing.
The factory investment of 5200 m2 has been completed and the company head office has been moved to Tuzla region.
Birleşik Metal Bursa Branch was opened.
The number of special steel and metals brought to the sector has reached 250, and the number of companies with current cooperation has reached 5000.
With 55 bandsaws, heat treatment facilities and nearly 20 engineers, Birleşik Metal has become the largest special steel service center in the Balkans region.
